Hi

We are going on the 14th August. We will be travelling with a 6 year old twin boys who will be 2 yrs and 9 months.

We plan to have 1 character meal we can not decide which one. Can we book the resturant before we leave even though we are not staying onsite? How much are the character meals?

:thanks:

hi If you want to eat in the park I would say go to the luckey nugget saloon, which is a buffet or if you want to eat in the village I would recomend Cafe Mickey which is table service.

We have booked for cafe mickey this time as its my dd favourite, you can book in adavance, i think it is 60 days before.

In the past we have not booked in advance and have managed to get a table on the day, however if you want a paticular time I would at least try to book in the morning.

for prices and menu check this site. www.dlpfoodguide.com

Hi

Thanks for the advice. I didnt know that the village had character meals. Maybe this might be a bettter idea than going to Rain Forrest Cafe or PH for our first night. Perhaps Lucky Nugget one day.

I have heard many disers prefer Cafe Mickeys. Do you think this would be a resturant not to be missed.

Thanks for the tips.

We also enjoyed Cafe Mickey when we went. Even though it was mega busy they didn't rush us at all.

It's definitely worth it :thumbsup2 but I agree it is expensive.

The DLP foodguide is a fantastic site and is invaluable with deciding where to eat. Although I've enjoyed all my meals in DLP! :yay:

Hi

We have decided we will go to Cafe Mickeys on the day we arrive. Just to get Casey exicted. We are also planning to go to Rainforest Cafe. I also like the idea of pizza planet.

I am sure your children will love cafe mickey and going the first day is a great way to start your holiday. :goodvibes

I think Cafe Mickey is a good choice - Casey will love it - the character interaction and general atmosphere was superb when we were there and the meals are very good too. :goodvibes
