Can anyone tell me if Photopass photographers are at all of the character meals?

We have two character meals booked for dinner (Chef Mickey's & Crystal Palace) and two for breakfast (Ohana's and Donald's Safari).

If Photopass photographers are there, do you have to pay for a photo "package" in order to have the pics added to your card? Something tells me I read something like this about Chef Mickeys, but is that also true about the others?

Any idea what the photo package at Chef Mickey's is worth (roughly)?

TIA :goodvibes

Yes you have to purchase the package to add it to your photo pass. Sorry I do not remember what it was.

We just got back on Oct 14 and we did severak character meals. We ate at Hollywood and Vine, Cinderella's Royal Table, Crystal Palace, and Princess Storybook Dining. At Cinderella's Royal Table and Princess Storybook Dining there were photographers there and before you leave you get a set of pictures - at CRT it was with Cinderella and at Princess Storybook Dining it was with Belle. Other characters came around to our table - mice and fairy godmother at CRT. Ariel, Alice in Wonderland, Sleeping Beauty, and Cinderella at Princess Storybook Dining. But when they come to the table you have to take your own pictures. We tried to give our photopass to the photograpers at CRT and storybook dining but they told us they didn't take them - I guess since you get a set of pictures already included with the meal :confused3

I'm pretty sure they just have the photographers at Chef Mickeys, CRT and Akershus? I could be wrong. But you have to buy the photo package and on the picture is the code to add it to your photopass when you get home.

I believe it was about $40 for the package.

Our picture package was included with our meal at CRT. I thought it was the same at Akershus. I've always known that Chef Mickey's was a seperate purchase though. Has something changed?

No nothing's changed! I'm just a little absent minded today! Pictures are included with the meal at CRT and Akershus! Don't mind me!

You do have to pay at Chef Mickey's. Oops!

The Princess storybook had a photopass number printed on the receipt. I noticed this just before I was about the throw it out.

I was able to add my Chef Mickey (paid 25 for the photos), CRT and Storybook lunch to my photopass. Tell them you need a photopass number so you can add it. Chef Mickey's and Askerhaus were great and got me the number no issue, CRT I had to ask multiple times. CP we did not see a photographer, at Tuskerhouse there was someone but we passed on the photos but my guess is you can get them added. I was also told that they will be letting you add any of the purchased photos (like the ones from Splash Mtn, Buzz Lightyears, etc) to your photopass soon

The photo at Chef Mickey's was just a group photo in front of a big white plate with Mickey heads scrolled around it. When you purchase the photo, it comes with a separate pic of just the characters from the meal.

The photographer took a picture with our camera, and since the photo to purchase was so expensive, I was satisfied with our "free" one.

When we went to CRT on our last trip the lady who brought us our picture package said there was a code printed on the large photo. We brought the photos to the photopass desk on Main Street and he used that code to add them to our photopass card.

The photopass numbers for CRT and Akershus are printed on the big photos. Just pull the picture out of the holder. You can just add the photopass number online when you upload your photos.

I'm glad to hear that you can have the photographer take a picture with your own camera. I was too scared to ask on my last trip.

There aren't any PhotoPass photographers (or picture package available) at Crystal Palace during dinner.

Just thought I'd add that Ohana character breakfast has photopass photographers there too. The photographer there was willing to take our photo with our camera too! That being said, we went to Ohana twice that trip and bought their package the 1st time around.
