Character meal on a Sat. Morning?

We are visiting in January and will be there over the MLK weekend. We are planning on taking the Saturday as our "off" day and that is the day DH wants to do the Character meal...we have already decided on Chef Mickey's but would it be extra busy on a Saturday morning as opposed to another day? Also what is the best time to try and get....early or later.. ..Kids are 2yrs and 4 yrs and are good breakfast eaters.

Most times Chef Mickey's is fully booked every day, so I don't think a Saturday would be any more crowded than any other day. As far as the time, that's a personal preference. We went at 7:20 but we were going to MK after. If I was having an off day, and not going to a park, I'd probably do later in the morning, so I didn't have to get up so early. Plus the meal is very filling and will probably hold you till an early dinner time.

Chef Mickey's is pretty much busy all the time so it won't make much of a difference. I'd get a late ADR, like 11am, so you don't have to wake up early especially if you're not going to a park that day.

That was our first choice as my son absolutely loves Donald Duck but apparently it is closing as of Nov/07 and we are going in Jan 08.

We have always done CP on a Sat morning at 8:05 and have not found it to be any busier than any other day

Donald is at Chef Mickey now too And by January 2008 the new Donald's breakfast will be open at AK.
