Character meal during HIGH Season

I was just wondering...how long do these character meals last ? I have a Character Lunch booked for Friday the 29th of Dec. at 12:00...

Do you get rushed in finishing your lunch so other people can come into the restaurant ? I'm wondering what's better, either lunch at 12 or an early dinner, like at 6pm ?

Is it true that Cafe Mickey has an upstairs area which is less noisy than downstairs ? If so, do the Characters go up there too or do they get held by people downstairs ?


Between the Cafe Mickey and Lucky Nugget, which do you prefer (always for a Character meal...)

Martina, we've never been rushed even when it's busy ~ and it's nothing for us to spend nearly 3 hours over a meal!

I've only sat upstairs at Cafe Mickey but all the characters come up there too.

I like both Cafe Mickey and Lucky Nugget. I think perhaps your DDs would prefer Cafe Mickey because (although he isn't guaranteed) Mickey is there!

We prefer Cafe Mickey: good food and great character interaction! We've been upstairs and downstairs and there didn't seem to be much difference. I would go for lunch at 12 as it was undoubtedly quieter than dinner: we practically had the place to ourselves so DD got loads of attention from the characters! However, if you have to go for dinner 6pm is a quieter time.
You'll have a wonderful time: we always do!
