Character meal changes???

i must be out of the loop.

but i heard that now, in order to make a reservation for a character meal - not just the ones at crt or psb, you have to pay upfront like you do at a dinner show?

supposively, the reason for the cost is that you will receive a 'photo album' with your meal. the album is supposed to include a pic of the restaurant, a pic of all of the characters at the restaurant, a pic of you with the characters, and then a pic of you.

does any one know? is this true?

NOT TRUE--i just made ADR's a few minutes ago. Two of my ADR's were for character meals. (CP & Cape May)...the deposits and "due in full" policies are for the shows, CRTs and PSB's like you mentioned. I think PSB is still a credit card hold. There are a few NON-character meals that require a CC hold now, like CG. (there may be a few others now)
