Character Meal CHANGE?!

Has anyone heard any rumblings of any character meal changes in the works? It seems as if the same ones have been going on for some time with few changes...as a matter of fact, the only one that comes to mind is the addition of the Norway princess breakfast. Otherwise, they're all pretty much: been there, done that. Seems as if the rest of the changes have been pretty subtle. I wish I had been around for the VILLAIN MEAL days!

I know people have been campaigning for a Toy Story meal...and that would be really cool. I'm surprised they don't bring Lilo & Stitch to Ohana in some capacity....or the Peter Pan characters at the BC or YC.

Anyone looking for something new & different like me? (Although, I must say, I really want to go to Cinderella's castle breakfast again, because, well, that doesn't really get old, does it?!) ha.

I so wish they would do a Lilo & Stitch one and Ohana would be the best spot for them too!

And a Toy Story Meal would be really cool too!

I also can never get enough of Cinderella's castle, I love it there and I think I am going to go there with my friend in October.

I'd love to see O'Hana's do a Lilo and Stitch and I'd like to see some boy character breakfast (Toy Story or Peter Pan) for ds. Peter Pan would really be gender neutral because you could do Tinkerbelle and Wendy too. My son goes to all the princess meals and doesn't mind it yet because he's only three. Right now his favorite is 1900 Park Fare because he loves the Mad Hatter! I know he'd love to see Buzz LIghtyear at a character meal.

No characters are in the castle at lunch, though there may be impromptu visits with Cindy or the Fairy Godmother.

I feel like "been there done that" for many of these. Heck, We've been seeing Pooh and Friends at the CP for 7 years now! Chef Mickey's needs a face lift everything looks so dirty and worn out, and it is like nothing ever changes except the price LOL! A little bit of shake up with characters and venue would be nice, but I doubt we will see anything new for a while.

Does Olivias in OKW have one still. I know when we went in 2000 it was Pooh breakfast but doesn't seem like there is anything there anymore.

I would definately like to see a "boy " charactor meal.

Olivia's doesn't have their character meal any more either. That one and AP's character meal were eliminated a while ago. But maybe with tourism being up...I read somewhere on the DIS that some CM said attendance is up 18%...maybe some of these character meals that were eliminated will be brought back.

I agree with you all here that they do need to rotate characters around and make them a little "fresher", bring a reason for people to come back.

In the past, we enjoyed the Pooh breakfasts at both Olivia's and Artist Point and I was sorry when they were canceled. I would love to see them brought back.

I also agree that virtually any new character breakfast would be welcome, especially new ones at the resorts (I like those more as they seem to have better food and be less hectic and frantic than those in the parks).
