Character M&G on HOTHS vs MNSSHP

We are due to arrive late October and are going to MNSSHP on 10/27. We are following our WDW trip with a HOTHS cruise during Halloween. I am already trying to plan what we want to do and who we want to see in Halloween costumes. From my understanding, Jack and Sally are out for both events and it's easier to see them on the ship vs a 3 hour wait at MNSSHP. Luckily Jack and Sally aren't on our list for either night. However, I AM curious about Mickey and the gang. What costumes they wear on the ship vs in the park? I don't want to waste valuable park time if I can see them on the ship.

Also, can someone detail what characters we will see on the ship for Halloween? I already have past lists for MNSSHP.

Chip and Dale have Halloween costumes also.

At Not So Scary Goofy is a pirate, Donald is a pumpkin, Daisy is a princess, Minnie is a witch, and Mickey is a vampire.

We did both in 2018. I don't recall the exact costumes, but I can say lines certainly were much shorter on the ship.

I would recommend using the party to do rides and save characters for the ship. On the Theme Parks forum on this site, there is a lot of chatter about how fastpasses age the park have been reduced and are hard to get, so MNSSHP may be your best chance for riding attractions at MK.
