Is there an easy way to figure out the following:

1)Where different characters are located
2) Whether there is photo pass available (meaning, will there be someone there to take pictures for memory maker)?

The My Disney Experience app usually lists character locations and times with a different section noting PhotoPass photographer locations. However, sometimes it can happen where a PhotoPass photographer is not at a character location.

Alternatively, you can tweet @wdwtoday and they will usually respond quickly to your character question.

Kenny The Pirate has a subscription service where you can get historical data and locations on who, when, and where. Also be aware that some characters can be visited in multiple parks although costumes may vary if that matters to you.

They have accurate and up to date info compared to outdated info on the MDE app.

2. The MDE app has Photopass locations highlighted on the map of each park.
