Character events for older kids on Wonder

I curised in '01 when my daugter was 4 and there were a number of club events with characters. DCL website shows only 1 or 2 events with characters. Does the 4 night cruise have character events for the 5-7 age & 8-9?

The older kids have fewer character events in the club/lab. However, there are plenty of character events all around the ship--before/after dinner, by the pool, by the theatre, etc.

Character availability has increased markedly since our first cruise.

I believe there are two character appearances for the 5 - 7 YO's. Captain Hook appears during Do You Want to be A Pirate and Goofy comes during Goofy's Giggle Gala. That's it. There are a few more appearances in the 3 - 4's and there are NO character appearances once you go to 8 - 9's or 10 - 12's.
