Character dinning without children

My husband I typically have kids with us...but we made a trip to both Aulani and Disney World by ourselves in the last few years and did character meals. Not only have I been in meet and greet lines with the kids and seen lots of adult and young adult groups waiting w/ no kids, I have a step daughter that works for Disney (not inside the parks) and is at the parks pretty much every weekend meeting characters...totally normal!
