So, we are going to Disney for a training and staying at the Hilton. During the training, we won't have theme park tickets. We were thinking a character dinner would be fun and memorable. There are seven of us. Is there a character dinner not in the theme parks? As long as it is not a princess fest, we will take anything! TIA!

1900 PF is at the Grand Floridian. There's Cinderella, the Prince, stepsisters, and stepmother. Great food, only one princess, the stepsisters are a riot; it's by far the best character interaction at a character meal (we think)

Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary--I would recommend breakfast over the other meals; the food is better then. The fab 5 characters are at this character meal--lots of fun!

Those are my two recommendations. There are several other character breakfast meals (Cape May, Ohanas, etc) that you could find as well. Have fun!

I think dinner time is kind of limited, Chef Mickey's is all that comes to mind. Though it's a great place to meet the whole gang, we were very disappointed with our dinner there in November.

If you can make a breakfast, i'd suggest 'Ohana. It's family style, so you don't have to get up and very delish. We were a party of 6 and could see parts of MK from our table!

Cape May at BCV does a character breakfast and I believe Garden Grove (at the Dophing (or Swan- not sure which)) does a character meal on select days.

I also believe that I read that the characters at the 1900 Park Fare in the GF change from b-fast to dinner.
