I know I am missing a good one.. I am thinking of changing my Le Cellier lunch for a character dinner. We are already doing CRT lunch and Chef Mickey's dinner. I would like another character dinner, just not at those places. Any ideas? Also, is the food/character interaction good at that place? Thanks.

Editing to say I really don't want to leave the parks..it's a once a decade trip for us, and I don't want to waste a lot of time commuting. We are leaving the parks once for Chef Mickeys, so everything else I would like to stay in the parks. I read about Ohana dinner and CP dinner, but those in are the resorts, right?

Garden Grill in Epcot has a character lunch and dinner... Mickey, Pluto, Chip/ Dale will visit your table... Character interaction is excellent...Food is family-style.... Kids get a make-you-own cupcake for dessert.... The place SLOWLY rotates of the Land (you can see the top of the ride as you rotate).... When we went the service and food was very good... I have seen different opinions of this place but we REALLY liked it!

Liberty Tree Taven in MK is also a family-style dinner... Goofy, Pluto, Minnie, Chip/Dale visit your table... Charater interaction is terrific... Kids can get chicken tenders (even though it is not on the menu) and the dessert is yummy... Food is good (not the best).... We fill up on the mac n cheese, turkey, mashed potatos, veggies, bread, and those special chicken tenders that are really good.... We have been four times and it is on our list for future trips!

Thank you SOOOO much! I think Garden Grill is just what I am looking for. I was looking for something in Epcot preferably, since that is our first day. I appreciate it!

Just to add another possibility - we really loved Crystal Palace! it's in the MK and the characters are Winnie-the-Pooh and friends. LOVED the food, character interaction was great, the restaurant itself is beautiful. We're doing it again in 2009! Not in Epcot...but definitely good!

How about the 1900 Park Faire? I've heard that the stepsisters are hilarious! We have this one booked for our upcoming trip.

Libert Tree Tavern has great character interaction, but I think that may only be during their dinner and not lunch. LTT was the best meal of our trip and I would highly recommend. We got to see Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, Chip & Dale...and they came around more than once.

You are correct... The characters are only there for dinner.... Lunch has a regular menu to order from and no characters.
