Character Dining

HI I'm new to the forum. I've booked a Disney trip SEpt. 10-17 2005 staying at the All Star Music.
I have the dining plan included.
I would like to do a character meal, but not sure which one is best.
I have 2 boys ages 5 and 7.
Please give me some tips anyone.

We have two boys ages 10 and 3 they both really like Chef Mickeys for breakfast. The characters are Mickey, Pluto, Goofy, Chip & Dale, and Minnie.
It is buffet with lots of choices! We have tried other character meals and this one is our favorite. They are very busy, but so are the other places we have been. The characters have always been good, and the atmosphere is awesome!

Can you fit in two? I like Chef Mickey's and 1900 Fare (Grand Floridian).

The chrystal Palace at Mk is also a great place. Characters are Winnie Tigger, EEyore and Piglet.


WE're doing this one in a couple of weeks. If you call early you should ask for a seating before the park opens, that way you get to stroll on an almost empty Maisn street Usa......

We are also going to ALLstar Music....should be alot of fun!

I will book Chef Mickey, is there a fee to book priority seating.
Has anyone tried the one at Animal Kingdom ?

I'm so excited!!!!

When do you tell the kids? Mine are 2 boys ages 5 and 7?

There is no fee for booking a seating. We also tried Donald's at AK a couple weeks ago and it was ok. We did not like it as much as Chef Mickey's. They have less choices on the buffet, but the characters were pretty good.
