Just wondered if we was to book a character meal, who do you guys recommend to book it through?
We did fancy Chef Mickeys but now we are thinking more along the lines of crystal palace in magic kingdom, what are the prices, and who to book it with etc?
Never done this before so we need a little help.

Also DP is wondering, when you book your tickets, what date do you give? as we wanted to have the dining experience when we are in the All Star Movies, which will be after the 4th july?
if you know what i mean?

Any Info gratefully received.
As we are looking to book this weekend at somepoint.

Hi, I wouldn't book it through anyone. Decide where and when you want to go - menus and prices www.wdwig.com then phone WDW priority seating 0014079393463 direct from the UK. I found the quietest time to phone was 9pm Uk time onwards. You get straight through to WDW and its so easy to book. Once your PS has been made, you just turn up at that time and pay at the end of the meal. This year was the first year that I phoned for priority seating, I was kinda nervous about doing it, but it's easy and quite exciting. Hope this helps. Oh and by the way, we're trying the Crystal Palace character breakfast this year.

Hi Beth
We've been to both Chef Mickeys and Crystal Palace on our last trip last year, which was also in July!!
We loved both of them - but Chef Mickeys was my favourite. It was really lively with all the napkin twirling and singing. Our DS's were 4 and 5 at the time and they really enjoyed it.
Crystal Palace was lovely too - but a bit quieter. The food at both was really nice!

We had our PS's for dinner - the earliest time possible for dinner, which was 4pm for Crystal Palace and 5 for Chef Mickeys, which we felt were good times - as we didn't have to wait for a table.

Have fun choosing!!

The Pooh and Friends Character Breakfast at the Crystal Palace is great in terms of range, vfm and character interaction.

We just turned up last time and had no problems getting in but I might PS this time as we'll have a toddler with us!

Both breakfasts are excellent. I always PS & have never had a problem. If closer to the time, you need to change them, that's no problem either & there is no financial penalty. We tend to do the earliest seatings, but we like hitting the parks early. This is particularly useful if you are off-site, but fancy being in the park on an EE day, or before te crowds hit on a non EE day

Here are some DIS Reviews of some character meals and here is a link to the menu's

I get so excited I tend to phone up straight when they have opened at 12pm our time LOL ;)
