Due to go to DLP end of May  and we want to Dine with characters at least once during our trip and I was wondering if you only had one chance to dine with the characters where would you go and for what meal i.e. Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner.

Hi it totally depends on the characters you want to meet.

If we could only do one, with our princess mad 5 year old, we would choose the princess meal at Auberge. You meet 3 princesses, a prince and Suzy and Perla. Food isn't our taste and it is expensive, but worth it for the princesses!

But if we didn't have a princess mad girl, we would go for the Inventions Sunday Brunch if there on a Sunday, or the Inventions evening buffet if not. Sunday Brunch is themed, so you get pretty amazing characters and the food is amazing! Evening Buffet is usually delicious and the setting delightful. Characters are Mickey & Co with a few others (Gepetto etc.)

HTH!

Hi, I think you should def see Minne in Cafe Mickey. We've never not seen here there.

To my knowledge Tinkerbell doesn't do any of the character meals, but you will see her in the parade.

Tinkerbell is only in the parade.. She doesn't do meet and greets. Same with Anna & Elsa from Frozen

what is better breakfast, lunch or dinner at Café Mickey?

Breakfast and lunch are quieter than dinner. Breakfast has hot items (sausages, bacon etc) and the lunch menu is the same as the dinner menu.

lunch and dinner is better value I think, because for breakfast you are charged per person, but for lunch and dinner you can choose just one course if you like, you can even share pizza and starters between you (similar to Pizza Hut etc).

I've not seen Minnie in there much tbh - in February we walked passed there several times a day for 9 days and only oversaw Goofy, Mickey, Eeyore, Chip and Dale Pluto....i never saw Minnie and I've never eaten in there with her yet. So maybe Definitely is a strong word. I'd say its a possibility but not a definite. Mickey though, yes indeed!

^^^^^yes!! I LOVE the breakfast, however it is very busy and paying extra for my DD when the only extra thing from the Sequioa she'll eat is the smoked salmon (and maybe sausage, but no other hot items) is a waste. She'll quite happily share a pizza though.....I'm not paying €20 for a kids meal when we can share a big pizza ;)

Enjoy :goodvibes as others have said you don't need to spend a fortune at Cafe Mickey, you can eat quite reasonably if you share pizzas etc.
