Trying to determine which character dining options to choose for 4 and 5 year old granddaughters. Spending two days at MK and thinking of Cinderella's Royal Table for one dinner. What is another good option for dinner in MK? Also, need one dinner in AK and one in Hollywood Studios. Thanks for your help.

We had breakfast at Cinderella's Royal Table last week and really enjoyed it. It is beautiful, and the food was actually surprisingly very good! The time with the princesses did feel rushed. We also had dinner (& breakfast) at Crystal Palace and felt we got MUCH more character interaction time, though the food was not as good as CRT (but the price is much easier to handle!). We had a beautiful view of the castle from our table both times. At Animal Kingdom we ate at tusker house, again the interaction felt rushed, but we really enjoyed the food and had enough time to take photos with every character. We did not go to Hollywood studios. I hope that helps! We also ate at chef mickey's on arrival night. I liked it, husband did not like the food much but I feel it was a good experience. Slightly rushed interaction there too though.

We love dinner at Cinderella's! I mean, it's amazing and in the castle, you can't get much better than that!
I highly recommend Crystal Palace for breakfast, you get to meet Pooh and the gang and the food is delicious! My favorite is it get an 8am breakfast so you can get in before the park officially opens!

As for DHS, the food isn't great there, I prefer hopping over to Beaches and Cream and Beach Club for lunch, but if I'm eating there I'd probably choose 50's prime time!

In AK, I HIGHLY recommend Tusker House, you get the fab five gang, and some regular buffet items, but then a ton of dishes with "African flair" to them and it's delicious!! Sometimes the interaction is kinda lacking but it's delicious!! I suggest lunch here the most, and dinner has no characters FYI!

We have done tusker house in AK for lunch and enjoyed it and the characters. We've never done the character dining in HS. We tend to eat at Mama Melrose, or 50's primetime for our sitdown meal.
I was not a fan on CP in MK with the characters but we did enjoy 1900 parkfare with Cinderella and the step family and prince charming at the Grand Floridian. Since you are going to the castle this probably is of no interest since you're already seeing Cinderella.

with 4 and 5 year olds...if they are disney junior fans, our DD4 LOVES Play-n-dine at Hollywood Studios. We've done breakfast and lunch, enjoyed both, and the character interaction is some of the best we've ever experienced. princess:
