Character Dining!

Hey Everyone,

Hope everyone has had a good weekend! I have a question re character dining!!! We are going Dec 16th to 22nd, we have one ADR for Cape May, but are really looking for a meal with Mickey. What are the odds of being able to get a character meal when we get down there? And would we have to call multiple times a day when we get there?

We have been many times in the past but have never done Character Dining, and this is my DN 1st Trip, he's 8 and all about eating with MICKEY!!!

I don't know what your odds are of getting an ADR when you're there, but if you haven't already I would encourage you to subscribe to the December cancellation thread. Also, keep checking the online ressie system for Chef Mickey, Tusker House, Ohana, or Garden Grill (all places that you can eat with Mickey, which meals offer characters differ)! You just never know when one will pop up! You still have time to snag one! Good luck

Just did a quick search online...Tusker House is available for breakfast on the 21st right now for at least 6 people. There are also a couple of days (the 18th and 20th) that it is available for lunch which I had thought was going to be offering characters starting beginning of December. You might want to double check that though. Good luck!

I would call now and try and get ressies. My kids love Chef Mickey's

The odds are no better once you arrive at WDW than they would be now. if it's something you really want, make sure you keep checking. Also, try walking in at the time the restaurant opens (but don't promise the child anything if you can help it).

If you are staying at a Disney resort, the lobby concierge can check for you. Guest Services in the park can check for you. You can also call or check online if you have internet access.
