Character Dining

We are staying at the WL Resort and are looking for a character breakfast/lunch. MAin charcters (for my 2 yr old sol) we are looking for are mickey, minnie, daisy and donald.

Can anyone recommend which one is best (we would prefer it to be in a park rather than a hotel so that we can then spend the day at that park).

I do not think you can get one restaurant w/ all 4 guaranteed, especially in a park.
Chef Mickeys is at the Contemporary Resort which is just 2 mins by monorail from the MK. There you are guaranteed to see Mickey & Minnie and others.
To see Donald and Daisy go to Tusker House which is right in the Animal Kingdom park.
There are other restaurants to see them but these will be the closest to staying in park.

Daisy is tough...I think she is only at the Donald breakfast at Tusker House.

The only Mickey and co. character meal in any of the parks is Donald's Breakfast Safari at Tusker House in Animal Kingdom. As far as I know though, Minnie is not there. It is usually Donald, Daisy, Mickey and Goofy. This is probably the best breakfast buffet in any of the parks.

Chef Mickeys at the Contemporary usually has Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy and Pluto (The Fab 5) While not in the park, it is a quick monorail ride from MK. Chef Mickeys only offers breakfast and dinner. As far as I know, there are no character lunches with Mickey and Co.

as your goal characters, you're looking at a breakfast. Chef Mickey's (also has characters at dinner), Cape May and Tusker House have some of those characters but none of them have all four.

CM has Mickey Minnie, Donald, Pluto and Goofy. Tusker House has Mickey, Donald, Daisy and Goofy. Those are probably the two closest if you want only one meal.

Whilst not having all the characters you are looking for our kids loved Chef Mickeys at that age - either that or the Safari Breakfast are great experiences for little ones. Enjoy!

If you decide on Chef Mickey's followed by a day at Magic Kingdom, you can take the boat over to the Contemporary from the WL. After b-fast, WALK to the Magic Kingdom. It's a 5 minute walk on a marked walkway. The monorail from the Contemporary stops at the Transportation Center, the Polynesian and the Grand Floridian before making it back around the Magic Kingdom. You could also go to Epcot from the Contemporary via the monorail.
