My 4 year old daughter loves the princesses. Any suggestions of a good character dining that involves them. Is Cinderella's Royal Table worth it?

It is worth it to eat in the castle at least once, imo. Cinderella greets downstairs and other princesses circulate through the dining room upstairs.

There is also Akershus in Norway, Epcot that has a greeter (Belle every time we have been) and then other princesses circulate through the room.

And, 1900 PF in the GF dinner has Cinderella, Prince Charming, Lady Tremaine and the stepsisters. This one is fun!

I have to second Akershus. They bring out the food family style, but there is also a small buffet of items you can choose from. The girls got their picture with belle at the beginning and then met Cinderella, Ariel, Snow White and Sleeping Beauty in the restaurant.

We took our almost 4 year old niece to the Princess Breakfast in Norway and it was amazing! Not only was the food great but the characters were fantastic and doted on my niece...she was in awe! Two years later we took her back and she was just as in love with it as the first time around.

We also took her to the Cinderella dinner at GF when she was just 6 and she wasnt as thrilled....she had more fun meeting all the Princesses in MK in Toon Town.

We LOVED  Akershus for lunch. I haven't been to CRT so can't compare, but I thought the food (esp the desserts!) was very good, and my DD was VERY impressed with the princesses. We met Belle, Cinderella, Snow White, Aurora, and Ariel.

Honestly if you take a cold analytical comparison I am sure Askerhus and 1900 Park Faire are much better value and I have read here that the food is better as well. However no amount of money could ever compare to having my DD turn to me with tears in her eyes and say "I can't believe we're eating in the castle Daddy." This year we'll see if things are as magical the second time around, if not we'll try the others in the future, but I agree with PP it is worth it to eat in the castle at least once.

have to amen that. I read where other people say go one time. We've been three times when our daughter was 3, 4 and 6. My wife and i discussed not going this coming trip but as we drove out the gates from our last trip she broached going one more time. Our daughter had had such fun. Of course she did BBB for the first time and celebrated a birthday which came with a card for the princesses to sign, an extra cupcake and a song from our CM for her and two other girls. The last thing I think is not normal.

Who's her favorite princess? DD6's fav is Cinderella, so relying solely on Akershus for her princess encounter seemed risky to me when I was planning our November trip. I couldn't get the castle so I booked Akershus and 1900 as a backup in case Cindi didn't show up in Epcot.

We ended up having to delay that trip to to this March, and I've gone overboard and booked all 3. princess:

CRT food wise, is not worth the price but the experience is so worth it. That being said, we always do Arkeshus as it's one of our favorites. We also liked 1900 PF for dinner. Would I go back to CRT probably not but it was fun to do it once.

The food at CRT is average but it is a GREAT experience. We did both CRT and Akershus and my daughter who is 3 loved both of them! Schedule an appt for her at the BBB and let her feel like she's a princess too! princess:

Ok I 15th Akershus. You get to meet the Princesses and you get a free photo to boot. Here's what ours looked like. Sorry if it's blurry but it's a photo of a photo. You can see more in my trip report in my signature.

We did Akershus on our first trip (last trip) DD was 4 - And LOVED it. I would highly recommend Akershus it to anyone! She still talkes about it and has the picture you get on her dresser.

We took DD (then 7) to Akershus and (weather cooperating) we'll be taking her back on Monday! :thumbsup2

The food is good, but OMG, it's the look on her face when she met her #1 idol, Mulan, that made the experience priceless!
