Is there photo ops with the Grinch throughout the park or is your only opportunity at the Character breakfast??

We have done character dining many times at WDW, Has anyone done this specific breakfast with Grinch and Friends? Is it any good?

We met the Grinch in the park a few times and did the Grinch "santa" photo thing they have set up like a true meet and greet.. btw my 2 year old freaked!! She thought he was very very scary LOL I loved the Grinch totally in character and we saw him in the park a few times throughout the day.. This year I just had to book breakfast on Christmas day with the Grinch.. I hope it is special and fun..?? pics would be awesome!

Doing it for the first time this year. Made my reservations last night. Can't wait!

I'm getting ready to book our reservations too. Can somebody tell me whether it's kind of wild? We will be four adults, and while we want everybody to have fun, we don't really want to be overrun with kids running everywhere.

My husband loves the Grinch, but I'm still shocked that he really wants to go to this! :rotfl2: It got even funnier when my daughter asked her husband, and he was just as excited about it as her dad!:lmao:

We're two childless adults and did not find ther Grinch beakfast too wild. You'd be fine unless you absolutely can't stand kids. The characters come to your table so you're not fighting a big crowd to get your pics. We loved the Grinch and the Whos. They were all so in character.

That sounds great! We'd be in trouble if we couldn't stand kids - 3 of the 4 of us are teachers! :rotfl:

My husband's favorite Christmas show has always been the Grinch (I on the other hand never liked it much growing up because I didn't like how he treated poor Max! ;)). He's really excited about this, and I'm glad it's going to be good. We have the 10 a.m. seating.

ETA: DH said to ask whether Cindy Lou Who was there?

I went to the Grinch character breakfast last year, and it was by far the best character breakfast I've ever been too. The character interaction is outstanding. The Grinch does a great job of working the room, and he made several stops at my tables. The Whos also were very interactive. At one point, I went to take a picture of the Grinch, and he said, "Now you can put that on your facebook page."

I was by myself, and at one point the Grinch sat down with me, and asked the waitress to bring him salmon en croutte. He then gave me a hard time for eatting green eggs and ham. I lifted one of my glasses and said, "to the Grinch" and he took my other glass, and said, "To me." I had the server take a picture of me and the Grinch holding up our glasses, and used it as my Christmas card.

I also waited in a very long line to meet the Grinch once a few years back. They said it was a 20 minute line, but was really more like an hour. When I was about 100 people from the front, the Grinch came strolling through the line, and he stopped at me. He said, "You. How many in your party?" I said, "Just me." He said "Follow me." So I got to cut a good chunk of the line and had a private photo shoot with the Grinch and his dog (they had a real dog there).

It's definitely worth meeting the Grinch when you are there (the Jim Carey style one, not the one in the pictures above).

Sounds great! :thumbsup2

I've been wanting to take my husband to Grinchmas for quite awhile. I've had a couple of trips planned that didn't work out (dates had to be changed for various reasons). While DD and I have been there at Christmas before, he never has, and I think he's going to love it!

This sounds GREAT! I cannot wait for this character meal. I saw the video on the Dis of the breakfast and it seems like so much fun, I'm really almost giddy about it. My oldest daughter asked us for a Grinch party for her 3rd birthday. I have a picture of her with her Grinch cake in our autograph album. This is going to be a blast! If he has a real dog with him we'll have to wait in line for that too.
