Is there a character meal with the princesses offered at DLP currently?

I haven't been to DLP in a while and didn't go to any character meals, but my SIL is asking, as my little 4 year old niece is having her first Disney visit in March :)

They are staying in the Dreams Castle which I understand is "Disney preferred" so can they go to all or any character dining offered?

(I have taken down the contact number Bexx supplied in the contact info post for calling dining - I assume they can just use that to book).

Thank you in advance for your help!

I'm afraid there isn't a Princess character meal at DLP - just general character meals. Have a look at this page on the excellent DLP Foodguide for the options.

As your niece wants to meet the Princesses, she can see at the Royal Castle stage in Fantasyland. They should be there for a couple of hours each day - usually in the morning.

I'm sure there will be no problem for guests staying at the Dream Castle ringing the number to make a dininig reservation. Indeed I don't think there are any restrictions on who can use it, Disney onsite/preferred hotels or otherwise.

Oh - just another thought: how organized is the meet and greet at the Royal Castle stage? Do they have orderly lines for this?

......also, I found a thread that described the character meal as chaotic - is that generally the case?

Yes, it's well organised (at last! ;) )

There are usually two Princesses on the stage, each with their own photographer. :)

We find the character meals fine ~ unfortunately sometimes some children don't wait for the characters to visit them at their tables but we have only experienced this once out of seven character meals.
Don't know which meals your SIL is thinking of but if it's Cafe Mickey it does get very lively at night, perhaps it might be better if they went there for lunch if they would prefer it quieter.

We visited Cafe Mickey and certainly got full attention from all the characters when they came to our table - it wasn't chaotic, just very loud!! Apparently visiting at lunchtime is a quieter option, so I may try that next time!
