 Ok, I know I leave in less than two weeks. This whole vacation has been a little last minute. We are eating our last day there with JoJo. I was wondering about adding one more character meal. I don't know if there will be anythng open, but I thought i would try. what do you all recomend?
IS there a offsite hotel that offers character meals too?
I want to call tonight or tomorrow morning. We are driving so offsite won't be a problem. Any help would be great.

We love eating with Pooh at the Crystal Palace in MK. If you don't want to go in to the parks, Chef Mickeys at the Contemporary was fun but the food really wasn't as good. If you have any little girls, my DD loves dining with the princesses in Norway at Epcot.

Tell us a little about your kids, and we can do better. I can say for my DD - 1900 Park Fare in the GF is the #1 favorite -- for B'fast (with Mary Poppins and Alice) followed closely by lunch at the Garden Grill in Epcot (Chip & Dale, Mickey). Those both usually still have availability later on.

We did Chef Mickey's and Crystal Palace, Pooh was by far better for us... of course it could have had something to do with our then 3 yr old "tossing" his
supper due to being overly excited. But seriously the food and character interaction was much better at Crystal Palace.

I have 2 boys and their favorite character meal is Chef Mickey's with Ohana coming in a VERY close second. I think a meal with any Disney character is gonna be a good meal though..:lmao:

I have two girls, though the youngest will be 10 months. My oldest DD will be turning 3 right when we get back. She is staring to know the princess's. She loves Cars, knows the Mickey mouse clubhouse gang. She is also a little wierd, she love Mary Poppins, Jump In, and High School Musical. She is so excited about going.

We just got back from our trip and did 3 character meals. The Crystal Palace was wonderful! The food was great and the characters stopped by twice each which was really nice. We also did Liberty Tree Tavern which we liked a lot too! The food was great and once again there was great character interaction. The last we did was the breakfast at Ohana. This was the least favorite for us because it took forever to even see one character and they were running very behind so we waited to be seated for almost 45 minutes after our reservation. They only had Mickey, Pluto and Stitch so that might be why it took so long.

Knowing the OPs situation, let me recommend the Park Fare B'fast then. It's got tons of characters -- fewest we've seen is 6 (including Mary Poppins who is at the front) -- and it's VERY low key (better for the baby).

Last visit there, we got Mary Poppins, Alice, Mad Hatter, Pooh, Tigger, and Eeyore. We've also see Burt (with Mary) once and Piglet.

Our favorite is Chef Mickey's:cheer2:. We loved the food and usually saw each character 2-3 times each time we went. We also loved Crystal Palace and 1900 Park Fare. I liked the Akershus(Norway) princess lunch, but DH didn't like the food. The kids were fine and DD was on:cloud9: seeing all the princesses. I don't think you would be unable to get a table at any of these places, but you may have to go at a kind of off time. Just call now and see what they can do for you.

We drive too and always eat at Chef Mickeys for breakfast on checkout morning. The food is good, & its fun to watch the monorail come in and out of the CR (depending on where your table is of course). Normally there is Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Chip and Dale who come around to the tables while Goofy stays up near the entrance.

We went to Crystal Palace on our last trip which was also very good. Piglet stayed near the door while Pooh, Eeyore, & Tigger came to the tables. Ohana is popular too, as are many others. I think it all boils down to what characters you want to meet, and then you go from there.
