Character dining, is it breakfast only?

The only info that I can find on the US web site is for breakfast with Thing1 and Thing2. Are there any character dinners available or is it just the breakfast? I thought I read somewhere on here about a dinner with a magician but I can't find the post. Anyone have any info about that, my kids would really like it as they have recently become interested in magic. While at Disney in June we did dinner at Chef Mickey's, while the food was ok it was probably the best time that we had during dinner throughout the trip.

They usually have character dining and the magician at The Kitchen at the Hard Rock Hotel on Friday evenings for dinner.
