Character Dining - Free 8X10 by mail

I read on one of the many WDW tips and secrets sites, that at character dining meals, if your child gives the character a note with their name and address, that there is a good chance the will receive a signed 8X10 in the mail soon thereafter. Anybody ever done this ?

They used to do it.I haven't heard about it in a long time.It seems that now that it has been published in travel books and on websites, alot of people do it ,making it harder for the Disney company to keep up with it all.

I work in the restaurants and as far as I know this is not done now. Sorry. The characters don't normally mail anything to anyone.
