I am looking for the best character experience for my 3YO son but something that would ALSO appeal to his 7YO sister. This will be his first trip. My daughter has been, and we did Crystal Palace and Cinderella's Royal Table. Other ideas?

I think they will both enjoy Chef Mickey's. My two girls, 3 and 4 at the time loved it and my sister who was 9 at the time had a great time too.

Did you see the new Playhouse Disney bfast @ MGM? I know that wouldn't appeal to my 6 yo DS so prob not your 7 yo either. I highly reccomend Chef Mickey's. I know it's not the best food ever, but it's a buffet, and good for a buffet. Great place to meet the major characters, and seems like there are always quite a few there. If you do a dinner get the earliest ADR possible (5:00 or 5:30?) and you will get great character interaction. We also loved the Ohana Character bfast. We met Lilo & Stitch, Mickey, and Pluto there. Good Luck! :sunny:

My 3 year old son and 6 year old daughter LOVED Chef Mickeys and the Crystal Palace.

My kids liked Crystal Palace and Chef Mickey's. I'd say kids of yours ages will like them both.

Just returned and Did Chef Mickey with 6 kids in our group 5yrs to 2 and they all loved it. We did Liberty Tree Tavern for a Dinner and they got a big kick out of that and the adults enjoyed the family style dinner.

Chef Mickey's, Liberty Tree, Cape May Cafe (breakfast), Garden Grill. Granted, these are all classic Disney characters, but all in different costumes. Lots of hugs.
