Do you tip at the character dining places that have buffets? (ie: Cape May Cafe Breakfast, etc.) We are not on DDP so I'm just curious.
Thanks!

Yes, you still need to tip. Even though you serve yourself at the buffet, you still have a waitress who takes care of your drinks, clears plates, and any other miscellaneous needs.

This website has a great set of advice for tipping:

Dining

Server at a full-service restaurant – 15% to 20% of your total bill. If you’ve used a discount or received any free items, you should tip on the amount that your bill would have come to if you’d paid full price. If your party is large or placing many special requests, you should increase your tip appropriately.

Server at a partial service restaurant – 10% of your total bill. Use discretion based on how much the server is expected to do for you.
So buffets require about a 10% tip.

If you are traveling with a large party you will have an 18% tip automatically added to your bill at buffets. It was 6 people in 2000, I think it is 8 people now before they add the tip. Not sure if this applies to your group, just thought I would add it since we had the 18% added to our bill last trip and I was a bit irritated, I would never normally tip that big at a buffet.
