Are there any character meals at MGM? I seem to remember Hollywood & Vine having Minnie & a few of her friends...but it's not listed on the dining page? Does anyone know?

Unfortunately there are zero character meals at MGM, which does not make sense to me.

Thanks...that's what I was afraid of...guess we're gonna leave MGM & go somewhere & then come back for Fantasmic.....Would is be easier to get to GF or CM's? We could do either dinner that night? We will be doing BOTH of them eventually...just which one would be easiest to get to from MGM?

I know it's a real shame that there are no character meals :guilty: ! We went in 2001 & ate at Hollywood & Vine for the lunch buffet & they had Minnie & Goofy dressed up 40's style ! It was great ! But what I've heard there are no more characters there which is a shame because now we have DS - 2 & he would of loved it. :sad2:

To get to either 1900 Park Fare or Chef Mickeys, you would need to board a bus to GF or CR. The closest Character meal for dinner would be Akershus or Garden Grill at Epcot- you could take the boat, bus, or walk over.

Thanks Jen....I think we may still do the 1900. & then return for Fantasmic (or not) depends on what the kids want to do. I really want to do Epcot on Saturday...w/ the princess lunch. Epcot is actually our least favorite park & even with Food&Wine, I know if I try to take advantage of it they'll be a lot of WHINE to go with mt WINE! This trip it's all about the kids & that's ok...next time I'll have my turn.

Have fun at Park Fare- I gave my DD,7, the choice of any TS restaurant in the whole of WDW- she chose Biergarten. I even reminded her of Cindy at Park Fare and she told me she wants to go do the Chicken Dance in Germany! :rotfl: She is an Epcot lover, though. She loved Mo Rockin', the Japnese drummers, the British Invasion, and lots of other WS stuff- I didn't think she was old enough to appreciate all that stuff.

We will be there the first week of October, so we will get to try lots of TS places that are new to us- hope you have a great trip! :wizard:

I honestly think CM would be easier but since are both resorts either really should be pretty easy just hop that resort bus.
