I want to do a character meal at 1900 Park Fare. We are not staying on site. Can I do this?

I think we are going to do Epcot that day and then go back for dinner. If we are allowed to go to the Resort to eat how would I get from Epcot to the resort? Is Monorail for resort guests only? Is there a charge if not? It seems like the easiest way to get there but I'm not sure.:confused3

Thanks for the help.

Going from Epcot to the Grand Floridian is very easy. Just take the Monorail (it's free and you are welcome to use it) to the TTC and transfer to the Resort Monorail. Get off at the Grand Floridian.

All Disney Transportation is free for all guests of the WDW resort.

In this instance the "resort" is the WDW property so yes you can take the Monorail.

Thanks, that makes it easier to know that.

Now am I allowed to do a character meal at a Disney Resort even though I'm staying off property?

Absolutely!

Note: This may be a record folks. The shortest post I ever made on these boards. Well, that is, if you don't count this part. Then again, maybe even if you do...

Okay, awesome. Thanks. I was talking to someone and they didn't think I could.;)

Of course you can. Disney does not discriminate.

If you have a car, you might consider driving from EPCOT to the GF. It will save you LOTS of time. If you do take the monorail, you will have to switch to another line at the TTC. Make sure you get on the resorts line, not the express to MK.

While it's true that you can save time by driving, it's more fun (and Disney!) to take the monorail. It's a classic part of a trip to the World that everyone should experience. The monorail is one of our favorite parts of a WDW vacation! We ride it several times a day to get where we're going, and we never tire of it.

Have a great trip!
