Character changes in Toontown!

I was there last month April 21-24, for a quick fix and Rabbit from Winnie the Pooh was in the UK Toy Shop at Epcot. He was in a rotation...first it was Pooh and Tigger..then it was just suppose to be Rabbit and Eeyore..BUT Tigger came back with them. The CM's in the toy shop were really great about calling for times for me. I had been searching for Alice for years. I heard from Diser's that She is sometimes there. I asked and I was told yes she is But its usually every other day along with Mary Poppins. So I asked was she there at all today and was told no. So I said i'll try tomorrow. Went back and there she was, Mary Poppins too. I was very excited.

We go in August and I hope to see some of these different characters. Keep us up to date if there are any more character changes.

I wasn't sure who Clara Cluck was either, but here's what I found when I googled her Once I saw the picture, I recognized her.

Hey angiebelle thanks alot for the greay news! Ill be going there this weekend and the 1st week of june do you think that Clara cluck and Scrooge will be out there when i go?? I am a big i mean BIG character lover and i would love to have these characters. Oh and also do you know if clarice comes out every day or is she going to be one of those characters that are hard to get. Again thanks alot for the news!!

I hope they don't take the princesses out of toontown!! Last time we were there my daughter was 2 and didn't really want much to do with pictures, but alot has changed in the last two years and all she wants are pictures with the princesses. I know we have gotten great shots with Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty at toontown so I hope they are still there when we go in August.

Luvchip-- We saw Aurora, Cinderella and Snow White there a week ago-- I don't think they will take that line of Princesses away.. it is the ONLY place to greet Cinderella if you don't do 1900 or CRT! Then again-- I think it may be the only non character meal place for Aurora too? Snow White is at Epcot in Germany at least.

have a great trip! if you daughter loves Cinderella-- I highly, highly recommend 1900 Park Fare dinner. My DD2 LOVES Cinderella and really enjoyed it-- I loved the photo I got of her and Prince Charming-- he was GREAT!

We saw Rabbit in MGM last week! In the Animation building after the Mushu show-- Brother Bear, Rabbit and Pooh, some scary cat from Pinocchio, Minnie and Chicken Little and the Mallard where all there-- I was kind of shocked to see them!

I have also heard that Rabbit makes appearances at EPCOT in the UK. I didn't get to see because DD2 was having a fit and we had to leave!

Did you get pictures of the cat from Pinocchio?! That's Figaro! I must meet him. My cat is named after him.

Ok stupid question but is there a way you can find out what characters will be where and when?

We have usually been lucky and stumbled upon them but it would be nice to know who is where and when so we can plan accordingly. My boys love to find the characters.

jenniferma's "scary cat from Pinocchio" probably refers to one of the two "actor" characters, Gideon the Cat. He was a type of sidekick to Foulfellow the Fox (aka J. Worthington Foulfellow or "Honest John"). Gideon was voiced by Mel Blanc...but he never actually said anything, he only hiccuped! Foulfellow is the character who sings "Hi-Diddle-De-Dee, the Actor's Life for Me".

Unfortunately, not your Figaro.

Things are constantly changing, so when you get to WDW, be sure to ask CMs. There is a hotline they can call for info!

Clara Cluck is an ooooooold character from the days of black and white, the famous chicken opera singer.

I forgot to mention- the princess room is now officially called the storybook room, but it still features mainly the princesses. They changed the name to broaden the options if a princess was unavailable to fill a spot.

I looked on a few Disney websites that list character appearances and Figaro is listed as appearing though... has anyone actually seen him?

I was wondering why i saw the scrooge costumes yestereday when i went into work. They did seem a bit odd. OH and Clara is a brand new costume. i don't even think she has been used yet. I also saw the new Brer Fox costume, looks good.

Wow! You seen Figaro listed as a meetable character? I can't say I ever heard of anyone seeing a Figaro anytime in the last few years, though. And I never seen an Internet photo of him. Would be cool if Disney ever did get him out, as he is a classic! The only thing I seen at Disney is some beanies of him!

Ohh!!! If only Clara and Brer Fox get out in the next couple days!! I would be so happy! I only seen Clara in the parade at Halloween. And Scrooge on a normal park day would be awesome!! I'm glad Disney is trying to get some new ones out there! This is great!!

I personally haven't seen Figaro. I searched on google for Figaro and couldn't even find a picture, but a website posted that he is a character that does autographs. He is listed as doing meet and greets in front of Tony's Town Square Restaurant in Main Street, U.S.A.

I would love to meet Figaro though. I named my cat who looks just like him after him.
