We are planning on taking our granddaughter on our trip to BWV. I would like to know of any impressions of the Character Caravan. Also does anyone know the schedule of the Caravan at BWV.

Thanks:

I don't know the schedule, but the characters came through the BWV lobby at least twice in our five day stay last month.

My kids are a little old to be interested in the characters :( , but from what I saw, the lines were much shorter than you'd find in the parks. Also, you are waiting in an air-conditioned environment.

They gave us a character caravan schedule when we checked in, I believe.

My 4 yr old DD had the best time at the CC. We only hit it one am but as the other poster said. Plenty of time to be w/ the characters. The day we hit it, it was Captain Hook and his sidekick  He's the one w/ the big nose. Jessie and Minnie Mouse. I definately recommend it depending on the age of your granddaughter. Every am when we left to go somewhere my DD wanted to sit on the couch and wait for the caravan. don't want to be flamed but we really enjoyed that more than Early Entry.

When we stayed at the BCV in early August, they gave us a Character Caravan schedule at check-in. The times were as follows: BWV Tu., Th. & Sat. from 8:10-8:40am & 9:10-9:40am in the Main Lobby; BCV Sun., Tu. & Th. from 7:50-8:20am & 8:50-9:20am in the Lobby; OKW MWF 8:10-8:40am & 9:10-9:40am in outside corridor area between Lobby and Olivia's Cafe; and WLV Sun., Tu. & Th 7:50-8:20am & 8:50-9:20am in back of Main Lobby area. It also states times are approximate. When we stayed at VWL in December, 2001 Captain Hook, etc. (our DGS really likes him) visited the day we saw them. The DGDs were note interested. It was a terrific photo opportunity with our GS. It worked out very well since we ( about 10 of us) were having breakfast at Whispering Canyon Cafe at 8am.

at 8am.

My kids did CC on W & F of our stay at BWV back in June. Our dd is 5 and our ds was 16 months old. It was perfect. We had such a blast both days. We got there for the first one (there's 2 ea morning) and I don't think that we stayed the entire 30 minutes. There are about 4/5 characters and barely any lines. We did autographs and pictures. The M that we missed, I remember seeing White Rabbit and the Queen of Hearts. I don't remember who came on which day but one day we saw Jessie, Goofy (who was fantastic - he sat down on the floor and played with my ds) and Pluto. Another day we saw Capt Hook, Mr Smee, Gideon, I foret the wolf's name from Pinocchio. They have the CC right in the lobby, you'll have a great time!

Though I am not a fan of the Character Caravan, I must admit that it was a great way to see the characters that came. No lines and lots of personal attention. We have a great picture of DSD with all the CC characters at OKW this past New Year's.

Just returned on Friday and we did Character Caravans at BWV and AKL and loved them both but AKL was far more crowded.

We did the 8am CC at BWV, there were 4 characters and the kids had tons of time with each. Few great stories... Gepetto every did a whole dance routine waltzing my daughter around the lobby. My friends 3 year old was hestitant and Pluto did all types of 'tricks' to coax and by the end she was kissing him on the nose. IT WAS GREAT!:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc There'd never be time for that in the parks.

Also just at BWV they had a ribbon cutting when they got off the bus so it might be worth showing up early and hanging out outside and asking a cast member about it. We got there early but stayed in the lobby and missed it.
