when at the character buffets, is my 9 yr old only allowed to get food from the childs buffet line or can she also get from the adult buffet?

We took 2 of our DGS last year and one of them was on the child dining plan. We went to Tusker House For the Donald breakfast and no one said anything to him. We also went to Cape May Cafe and Boma's & no one said anything to him there either. So I really don't think they check. Only at sit down meals he had to choose from the children's menu

At the buffets our DD has always just gotten what she wanted to eat. I think they figure if they said anything you would just share at the table anyway so I dont think they bother monitoring. Go enjoy :):)

Children are only limited to the children's menu if they order from a menu. At buffets and family style restaurants, children can choose whatever they would like. That's actually why we choose buffets. My children don't really eat the "kid food" that's on the children's menu.

There is no such thing as a "kids buffet" or even an "adult buffet" at Disney. They have buffets with one section lower to the floor which has on it items that kids tend to enjoy (such as pizza, hot dogs, chicken strips, mac & cheese, etc.). Any person at the buffet (including children less than age three who are free) can get anything from any part of the buffet.

Like others said, its a eat what you want:) They just have some kid friendly items, she isnt limited to that.
