Hi,
Last went to dlrp about 3 years ago with my (then) 3 yr old. Stayed at the Santa Fe and booked for a breakfast at Walts one morning to meet all the characters.. This was a major highlight which I wanted to do again when we go in 5 weeks - although this time he's now 6 and also coming is my new partner and her 9 year old.
Through reading various guides it seems that Walts has stopped Character Breakfasts... Is this correct?
I think the alternative is Plaza Gardens according to the Food Guide (linked in the stickies). Anyone with any observations on how good this is?
We are staying in the Hotel New York (checkin Tue - checkout Fri) with an offsite hotel stay on the Monday night to make the most of the tickets. Any recommendations on which day to book a character breakfast for and where?
Would it be better to book for the Disney Village restaurant that is hosting the character breakfast (seeing as HNY is just round the corner) or does the breakfast in Plaza Gardens give a much better jump on the time entering the park?
And any tips to stop us adults getting far too excited too early - the kids are ok at the moment cos they see 5 weeks as being ages away - but I know it'll be here before I know it....
