So, what's everyone's experience or observations for Adult's going to Character meals without children. My Wife and I (both of us 26 yr old) are thinking of going to Chef Mickey's for breakfast and the opportunity for pictures but were worried we might "not fit in" with the rest of crowd. Is it a good idea or should we scratch it off our to-do-list?

Thanks!

Oh my - just wait until you go and see all the tables of "big kids" around you. We have yet to even go to Disney with kids and we hit a character meal every trip! There are always lots of table with children but also tables without.

At Disney, everyone is a kid ;)

My husband and I (25 and 26) made an ADR for the trip. He doesnt' care about the characters but I think it will be fun! Everyone is a kid at Disney! Let loose and have fun. :cheer2:

DH and I have enjoyed many character meals without our kids...and we're just a wee bit past our twenties.

I'm 26 and DF is 28. WE LOVE CHEF MICKEY'S!!!!!!!!! The characters are great and we get awsome pics there. Have fun and live it up!

Hi there dh and I are in our 30's and don't have kids yet... we have at least one, usually more, character meal each trip! Sometimes the characters are better than others with us, but I guess that's the same anywhere in the parks. Sometimes you need to do something different to stand out from the crowd... I wore a pink stripey top when went to the crystal palace which piglet just loved... and that was really fun!

Go for it and have a wonderful time. Which one are you thinking of doing?

We did Crystal Palace last time, and we were certainly not the only adult couple there. We had fun and the characters were great! Next trip we're doing Crystal Palace for dinner and Donald's Safari Breakfast.

I did CP as a solo last time and I was worried I'd look odd alone, but the place was full of adults without kids. Anyway, EVERYONE is a kid at WDW...:goodvibes

You need not worry, there are always tables w/o kids. DH and I have done this many many times, our disneymoon was the best, lots of extra attention especially if you wear something with the characters on it. Only once did we have a bad experience at Hollywood & Vine when it was Minnie and Goofy. We were completely ignored, the characters walked past our table but never stopped. I spoke to the manager and he refunded our breakfast. Other than that it has always been great.

DH and I are just 2 adults and we do a ton of character breakfasts. Our fav is Cape May at BC.

You still get a lot of character interaction even without kids

We did CP for breakfasts for my birthday...early in the park and all that. Had a decorated table, singing, birthday card...the table next to us was all adult as well... and the breakfast was really good especially the frittata...

We did CP and CM this time, and I have to say even though I was looking more forward to CP, CM had a better character interaction. I say go with CM.
