Character breakfast???

I am thinking about the character breakfast at Universal. Has anyone ever been? What characters are there? My son is 9, and I wasn't sure if he might be too old for this. Any thoughts? Is it worth the money?

We did it in December when it was the Grinch and the Cat in the Hat, etc. The food sucked, but the character interaction was really, really good. I think it's worth it for the kids once, probably wouldnt' do it again though. The food was really pretty bad.
