I need help picking a character breakfast dinner.

What I'm NOT looking for:
1, a princess character breakfast (I have two dinners booked already.
2, Chef Mickey. (I have dinner already booked there... dont want to do it twice.
3, a place that DOESNT serve pancakes (DH and kids LOVE pancakes)

If you know of a good place, please lemme know. and if you can let me know what characters are at the place you suggest, that would be a HUGE help!

Thanks!!

(we're going the week of 11/8-11/14)

We've always enjoyed 1900 Park Fare in the Grand Floridian. For breakfast, the characters are Mary Poppins (you take your picture with her before you're seated), and Alice and the Mad Hatter (come around to the tables).

They have pancakes on the menu -- but they're blueberry pancakes. Don't know if they work for your kids.

I'm not sure if my kids would enjoy those characters. I apologize... it might have helped had I listed the ages of my children. 9 yo girl, 3 yo girl, 2 yo boy. I'm not sure that my kids would "know" who Mary Poppins and/or Alice/mad hatter are (sad to say lol).

ETA - actually, I'm gonna scratch that one (but thanks!). I forgot, we have a dinner booked at 1900 Park Fare also and Id like to see as many "new" things as we can.

hollywood and vine? i cant remember if they have pancakes.

tusker house? i have never been there lol

Crystal Palace?

Ohana?

Actually, I think I narrowed it down to two (Tusker house being one, PLay-N-Dine is the other).

I'm gonna post a poll in another thread because I cant decide. lol

If your children are Winnie the Pooh fans, I highly recommend Crystal Palace! Wonderful selection, and if you can manage an early reservation, you'll be admitted into the Magic Kingdom before the park opens to everyone else. Great photo ops! :thumbsup2

I haven't seen the character breakfast at Cape May in the Beach Club mentioned yet. I can't say for certain that pancakes are served, so I apologize if that isn't the case, but this is a fun experience. Minnie, Goofy, and Donald are dressed in beach clothes, which makes it a little more unique than any other character meal.

How about 'Ohanas Lilo and Stitch breakfast? Mickey is there too. And they don't have pancakes. They do have mickey waffles though.

'Ohanas for sure!!! :thumbsup2 If your DH doesn't want pancakes for breakfast, he will love it for the same reason my DH does... THEY HAVE MEAT! :rotfl:

DH loved the huge skillet with eggs, bacon, sausage, etc. It is served family style, and is all you can eat. His comment after this breakfast was "we are SOOO doing this one each time."

They do also have the Mickey Waffles that they bring around (yummy). My kids loved Lilo & Stitch. Mickey & Pluto are there as well, and they even have a conga line that goes through at one point. It was a lot of fun. :)
