Is it worth taking the kids to a character breakfast?
I have a 1 yo and a 3 yo.

Definitely! The best part about the character meals, IMHO, is that you don't spend valuable park time standing in lines for characters. The kids also don't feel the need to stop every time they see a character because they've already "met" them and have gotten their autographs. I always schedule several of them because it gives them a chance to see a wide variety of characters.

honesly I much rather do a disney dinner, better food and just a bit more $, I have a hard time spending $20 for scrambled eggs, I much rather go for the meat :) and just pay a bit more, still seeing the cahara's
So in conclusion, if the same cahra's at breakfast or dinner, I would choose dinner for sure. But if the chara you want to see is ONLY at breakfast, well then I guess go . . . .

we always do a couple, my children are young also 7,4,1 and dont do well in lines to begin with so we save lines for rides and have the characters come to our table in an airconditioned resturant! remember to do ADR so you dont have to wait to long for your table...my experience is no longer then a 5-10 minute wait. we always show up a few minutes early.

another thing to remember at the character meals the characters will take time if your child is frieghtened...maybe even coming back by to see if they have warmed up. if you wait in the park you'd have to go back to the end of the line to try again.
