character breakfast without reservation?

I'm leaving on Saturday for WDW woohoo and I have a question I'm hoping you guys can help with. We're really into character breakfasts because we think it's such an easy way to get pics with a lot of characters. I have made ADRs for every morning that we will be there for various breakfasts. I've been trying for weeks to get an ADR for Cape May on the day we leave- we won't be going to a park that day, so we want one in a resort. So far, I've had no luck. Has anyone had success walking in to Cape May for breakfast with no reservation? I'm kind of scared to take the chance, but I sure don't want to go in with no advice! Any help would be appreciated!

Its possible but it is a long shot. I would keep trying. People cancel all the time. Try for different times also. I believe the characters here are also at the one place at AK if you have that one you should be fine. Best of luck.

I agree -- you never know about cancellations, so it's always worth calling.

But myself, I don't think I'd go all the way there on the off-chance you'll get in, if it's really a hassle for you to get there (do you have a car?). If it take you an hour-and-a-half to get there using WDW transportation and they can't seat you, that would be frustrating.

Thanks for the advice! We will have a car, but I would much rather spend time shopping at Downtown Disney or something than wait forever and maybe not get a table!

Just tried again and got Chef Mickey for that morning! It's like my Holy Grail of character breakfasts!
