I'm not sure this is the correct forum to put this in but..
My family and I are staying at the Beach Club this summer, and we have a character breakfast booked at the Contemporary one morning before the parks open. I was wondering how do we get there.. I know there are character breakfast buses to get to the parks, but are there any for the resorts as well? Thanks!

You can take a bus to the Magic Kingdom and the Contempory is about a 5 to 10 minute walk from the bus stop. Also, if you ask, the bus driver may swing by CR to drop you off. This has happened a few times when we've been on a MK bus. I think it might not be policy, but it has happened. Even if they can't, it's still a very short walk.

If you want no worries, you can take a cab.

It's not an official WDW policy that the bus drivers must do, so it's a 50/50 chance that it will happen. However I do agree the walkway from the Magic Kingdom to the Contemporary is not bad and does not take a lot of time.

It may or may not be policy, but every time we've been on that bus, the driver has always asked if anyone is going to Chef Mickey's, Stitch's breakfast, or 1900 Park Fare. They've always said they would drop people off at the resorts after they drop off the people going to MK. In fact, once we were going to the Polynesian for Stitch's breakfast and the driver dropped us off first.

Wow...great service! I've usually just gotten on the bus and then walked to the CR..only takes about 8 mins. But one time I did ask the driver which was faster..walking or the monorail. He told me not to worry, he would drop me right at the CR.

thanks everyone! I didn't realize that there was a walkway connecting MK with Contemporary, so I guess if the driver doesn't drop us off at contemporary we'll just take the walkway.. :thumbsup2

Courtesy of Robo who posted this on the Theme Park & Attractions board here is an overhead map of the walkway from the Magic Kingdom to the Contemporary, so if you do walk it you can see what the route would look like.
