character breakfast times

Hi

I posted a similar thread on the UK site but wondered what the US perspective might be. We have decided on venue, (AK breakfastosauras) but would like opinions on the benefits of early or late character breakfast reservations. There will be nine of us coming in July and opinions differ over a time - can anyone help?
Also, just how soon would you recommend making a PS request?

If it is a non Extra magic hour day, try to book the earliest seating (8am). You will be done with breakfast before the park opens.

I agree, on a non early entry day 8:00 is best as you get in before the park opens. On a early entry day I would shoot for 10ish so you can get some rides "under your belt" during this time and then eat (only if you are staying at a WDW resort-otherwise avoid the early entry park) !
