Character breakfast Reservation

Hi- any tips for getting a character breakfast reservation. We are not staying on property, so maybe that’s why I’m having such a hard time getting one? Thanks!

My daughter got them recently, it was 12 midnight Hawaii time so 3am California time. I forget the day number either 30 or 60. We all thought it was pretty good, price was in line with Park prices for character events. We got plenty of time with characters. Food was good, not all you can eat buffet, but plenty of choices with ample amounts. We were not staying there
