Character Breakfast Question

Quick Question - Does Saturday on a 7 day (embarkation day) get referred to as a sea day in regards to Character Breakfasts. Just wondering if they do them on Sundays which is Key West day since you arrive there at 11:30?

"Character Breakfast - There is a character breakfast on the 7 day and longer cruises only. This is held the morning of the first sea day after you dine in AP [Animator's Palate]. Early seating is at 8:00/8:15 and late seating is at 9:30. The CB lasts an hour."

No CB is held the day you board. There is no time for one. The 3rd day on the Western is Key West. Palo also schedules brunch that day.

I know there is no breakfast on the day you board, it would be silly to think there was.

I asked if they classified Embarkation as a sea day or not as you do cruise on the sea and on our Western we are in Key West on Sunday which is the second day of the cruise of our cruise, not the third (Sat day one, Sunday is day two and Key West Day).. Since you don't arrive till 11:45 and they do Palo brunch I was just asking if the do Character breakfast on those days as well since there is plenty of time..

On the Western you get 2 full sea days. Sunday, Key West, is considered the third sea day on the western itinerary. Embarkation day is not considered a sea day at all.

Palo Brunch and Character Breakfasts are offered on Sunday, Monday and Thursday on the Western Itinerary.

I never said the 3rd day of the cruise was Key West. I said that the 3rd sea day for the CBs was Key West day.

which to me reads that you asled if there is a CB on embarkation day if it was considered a sea day since CBs are only held on sea days on the 7 day and longer cruises.

Actually, it is (I believe) the first sea day morning after your AP "show". We had PLAPAPL and our AP "show" (which was very disappointg because most of the lights were broken) breakfast was on Thursday morning at 9:00am. This was also the day I had Palo breakfast at 10:30 so we just went for the photo opps with the characters.

On Key West day, the ship doesn't get into port until after noon. Thus, all the sea day morning activities are scheduled as if the entire day were a sea day.
