Character breakfast question............

Is there any other character breakfasts in the parks besides Confisco's?? AND, is Confisco's only on Saturdays?? I thought there was a place in Universal that had character breakfasts? I was going to try to get one for the last Friday in June 2007...and how does one go about reserving space for character breakfast?? Going to try Confisco's character breakfast in February....just asked DS if he'd be "into" character breakfast....he said "yes"...so, yippee! TIA!

The spiderman breakfast at Confisco's is on thursday, friday, saturday and sunday. The other breakfast being tried out right now is at Finnegan's Grill inside Universal Studios. They have Scooby and Dora the explorer and some others. Usually you cant get a reservation till a couple (few) months out.

Are you staying at one of the Univ hotels? If so, you could call your hotel's concierge desk directly to book (and for details on the breakfasts). I did just that the other day (we're staying at HRH next month), but didn't end up booking any. I was a little disappointed with the character offerings...the only one we would be interested in is the Dora one, and one's just for a limited time. I actually ended up booking one night at Nick Family Suites so we can have breakfast with Spongebob and Dora!

BTW, I noticed you're in Exeter.....we live in Gilbertsville, just next to Boyertown. Small world....oops, wrong park!

We're staying at RPR in Feb. (1 char. bkfast) and HRH in June/July (just 1 char. bkfast then)... didn't know how much time to book in advance?? I know it's different at Disney.....90 days, 180, 30, etc...
To jellieo & Tizzy: I know exactly where you's are! My ex-sister lives in Gilbertsville (behind Bermont motors) and I've been to Zern's more times than I care to admit (& I ain't been there much!) Exeter is actually about 20 min. west of Pottstown, and 15-20 minutes east of Reading....right smack in the middle of 'em both! Always nice to meet the neighbors

There is a trial breakfast with Scooby and Dora, for Aug and Sep. I have emailed my request to RPR for it to be extended till oct, its under review!

The meal is in US opposite the Mummy, sorry cant remember the name.

oh, it's easy. See, you don't take the occasional call she may actually make, you make NO contact with her...no email, no phone, no nuthin'. I didn't really "divorce" her per se....more of "disowned" actually....ya know the sayin'..."there's one in every family"....well, she' ours. Heck, I consider YOU people more of a family to me than her....and no, I'm NOT kiddin'.... sad, but true...but, I (& my family) are better off w/o her in our lives.


Tizzy---I can see where you're DH is comin' from....................not a big fan of those smells either With all the peeps from this area, I think we may have to schedule a DIS meet... (I work in Pottstown...so, we're definately not far from each other. My DSIL works at the apartments across from the movie theater/Coventry Mall).

Absolutely.... ....I am NEVER offended by blonde jokes....they are my "excuse" ....yup, always blame it on being blonde... FWIW: i think this was the first time I ever hijacked my own thread.... it's actually kinda kewl....

To finally answer your question, you shouldn't need to call more than 2 weeks in advance of the date you want. Many times UO restaurants don't open up reservations more than a couple weeks out. It appears that reservations are opened on an individual basis, when the manager of each restaurant gets around to it. You could probably even get a reservation by calling the night prior or even the morning of, if recent reports of number of people attending the char. break., are any indication. It seems UO doesn't get in a hurry about anything.
