I was wondering what is better...either a Character breakfast or a Character Lunch ? I believe that children are so excited that eating is the last thing on their mind...Any experiences on what has worked best for anyone with small children ( 4 and 6 yrs old) would help me decide.
I have read that maybe the best place is Walt's Cafe ? Is it so ?
I already booked two Good Morning Fantasyland breakfasts, and the Wonderful World of Tinkerbell.
Grazie from Italy ! ..Thanks from Italy ! ;)

We have always enjoyed the breakfast but given other reports really fancy doing Cafe Mickey at lunch-time :)

By the way Walt's no longer does character breakfasts.

We did the Plaza Gardens breakfast which was awful. :sad2: It was absolutely packed with people who rushed up to the characters rather than waiting at their tables for them to come: it was mayhem!!!! :furious: :sad2:

We also had lunch at Cafe Mickey which was great!!! :cool1: There were very few people there at 12.00 and we got to spend a lot of time with the characters: it was fantastic! We've also had dinner there which is busier but still a good experience. Go for Cafe Mickey!! :cheer2: :cloud9:

Thank you Sarah for the information. I will for sure book a Character Lunch at Cafe Mickey. Which time do you suggest to be the best...12 O'clock ?

I really like the tea at the plaza gardens which is a bit cheaper and fairly well organised.

Hi Martine

We did lunch at Cafe Mickey a few weeks ago and it was very quiet. We booked for 12 o'clock and the characters start coming out about 12.30. We hung on for Mickey Mouse who came out at 1.30pm. They were very good and came round to everyones table for photos. Best thing is to book for 12/12.30 and take your time eating! The waitresses don't rush you either as they know you're there for the characters!

Have fun

Tracy

We booked our meal for 12.00 which is the earliest you can book for lunch and the characters appeared at around 12.15. This gave us just enough time to order food and drinks. DD was asleep in her pushchair and was woken up by Minnie and Mickey - it was fab! :cloud9: :cheer2:
