Character Breakfast on Blizzard Beach Day?

We are staying at Pop. There are 8 of us, including 4 teenagers. I was thinking about booking a Character Breakfast the morning we go to Blizzard Beach, so we do not use up valuable park time. I am just not sure about the transportation time. We do not have a car. If we book an ADR at Crystal Palace around 9:15, we should be at the bus stop around 8:15?

Then after our ADR we would walk to the Contemporary and take a bus to Blizzard Beach? How much time would it take to get to Blizzard Beach from the time we leave Crystal Palace?

Crystal Palace would be my first choice, but if it would save ALOT of time by going to a resort instead of MK, maybe Ohana? We could take a bus directly from the Poly?

Or is this just a bad idea? I would like happy teenagers.

Not sure time of year you are going ....... but I would never book a breakfast unless it were in my own hotel before going to a water park. I would be at the water park for opening, get a good spot for our stuff and start enjoying all the slides before the park becomes more crowded.

If at POP I would grab breakfast at food court, head to water park, quick serve lunch at water park and then book a Character dinner.

There was a change in bus schedules to BB in May, and I think it is still in place. You will have to transfer at AK to get on a BB bus. If you don't mind getting to the water park later than opening, I'd have a character breakfast at Tusker House and then take the direct bus to BB afterwards to save time.

But you will use an MK ticket to go to Crystal Palace, you know that, right?

I also would not love to be stuffed from a huge buffet breakfast before all those water slides and in the sun all day. I would probably feel sick. I like the idea of a character dinner afterwards.

Going to Crystal Palace would involve all of the hassle of going through security and getting into the park, which at 9 will be pretty busy. Plus you would have to use a park day, and after BB you might just want to relax and then that's one day you can't get back. I would definitely recommend a resort restaurant

Getting to a water park at opening is just as important in terms of crowds as getting to a regular park at opening is. I wouldn't do it

You what they say about swimming with a full stomach? I'd rethink it (if you like to eat a lot at buffets)
