We are staying at the Beach Club as part of the Land/Sea Package. There is a character breakfast right at our hotel.

Is there enough time to do that character breakfast the morning (Sunday) we leave for the cruise?

I have heard that the bus doesn't even come until 11:45am. Is that true?

I know the Beach Club usually starts serving breakfast pretty early...say 7:30 am ....the Character breakfast at the Beach Club is very nice....

If you book an early ressie for breakfast you should have no problem catching the bus. I would call the hotel or DCL to find out the exact time that the DCL bus will pick you up...but the times you listed sound about right.

Ditto mmouse37's comment - you should have plenty of time, especially if you have an earlier PS for breakfast. Check with DCL or the front desk when you check in to confirm the bus departure time but I don't believe they leave the resorts much earlier than 11.

Character breakfast at Beach Club was wonderful - we had lots of time with all of the characters. Enjoy!

I like the Character Breakfast on the ship more than at the hotels (and it's free).

Just remember, depending on your dining rotation, you may end up having character breakfasts two days in a row.

You'll have plenty of time even with a later PS. Since its a Buffett your not waiting around to be served...your just wating for all of the characters to make their way towards your table. ( which doesnt take any longer than 45 minutes )

I would definitely recommend you have breakfast early. We have done the Cape May breakfast on embarkation day and have been so full that it was hard to do justice to the embarkation buffet.

Thank you all very much for your advice.

This is my favorite character breakfast! Get an early PS and go for it! What a nice send off for your cruise.

Am I the only one who wouldn't see this as a problem?? LOL On our last trip to WDW my kids would ask who are we eating with today? I think I love Character meals as much or more than the kidos!!

To the OP If you can get one of the earliest seatings (8:00 or 8:30) you should be fine. Character Breakfast take about an hour from when you get seated! Just make sure you have enough time to get packed up!!
