Book - it's always best to. You can just turn up, but you are not guaranteed a place, booking costs nothing, but great for peace of mind.
We have had character breakfasts at :
Chef Mickey's - hosted by Mickey,Minnie,Pluto,Goofy,Chip and Dale - by far my favourite.
Restuarantasaurus - hosted by "All The Boys"
Crystal Palace - hosted by Pooh and friends - great for younger children (although enjoyed by my 13 & 10 yr old DS).

We found especially with character evening meals, best to book the last time as the characters stay until everyone is happy that they have got all the autographs and photographs. Added bonus too is that the park is closed when you leave and noone hurrys you out, more photo opportunities!

Enjoy!

I would def book ahead and also we've done :

Crystal Palace with Pooh & Friends
Cinderellas Royal Table (Cinderella is downstairs to greet you then upstairs we got to meet Aurora, Alice, Belle and Snow White

For dinner we've done:

CRT, but this one they didn't sign the autographs it was the fairy God mother and two of the mice.

The Garden Grille~Mickey, Pluto, Chip and Dale were here and I liked this one...they interacted very well and made more than one trip around and even stopped a second and third time.

1900 Park Faire~ Cinderella and her step sisters and step mother and suzzy the mouse. Cindy is my fave so this was a lot of fun for me and they were very entertaining. Although the buffet wasn't that great, but the experience more than made up for it.

hth of the breakfasts I'd do pooh. I liked that a lot at cp

definitely book in advance...

we've done chrystal palace, 1900 park fare, cape may cafe, donalds breakfastasaurus, and chef mickeys

we enjoyed all of them except 1900 park fare....we didn't like that one (at the GF)...

Done Cindys castle - 3 times and CHef mickeys twice.

Try to get aerlt booking, if doing Cindys Castle, then you can have Main Street all to yourself, before the park opens !!!!

I've done the Chrystal Palace once and Chef Mickey's once. I'm going to book Cinderella's Royal Table next time I go as my youngest daughter will be old enough to enjoy the princesses by then(and my son will be told old to care!). I preferred Chef Mickeys but I would advise you book in advance whatever you decide as when I booked Chef Mickey's, it was more than 3 months before we were going and even then we had to settle for my 4th choice of date and a time that didn't really suit. :scared1: That was for July though which I understand is a very busy time of year.
Whatever you decide, I'm sure you'll have a great time. Have fun deciding:)

Ive done Crystal Palace lunch and dinner and its really good, great character interaction and lovely food. :goodvibes

Our fave is the Character Breakfast at Ohana's with Lilo and Stitch plus a host of other characters... :thumbsup2

Hiya,

We've booked our first ever character lunch at the Crystal Palace this coming MONDAY - Hurray!!

Will report back when we get back and let you know what we thought....

Ali.

We've done crystal palace .. great ... Cinderellas breakie ... food not great characters perfect!! Also IOA breakie .. highly recommended, so much fun and food lovely ... doing Chef Mickey's this time can't wait ... Definitely book before hand then you don't have any worries
Enjoy:yay:

I've been to Crystal Palace a few times.

I tend to book it for an early lunch (first sitting) and arrange to be in the Park from rope drop that morning, so if you are not going to spend the full day in the park you have have an awful lot done by then and know you are going to have a brilliant lunch.

Must point out, never been with any kids, it's always been 4 adults who have enjoyed it as much as any kid out there! ;)
