I really can not imagine not having at least one character meal while at WDW. Even if we don't have kids with us. Which one would you suggest for adults? We've been to Chef Mickey's so we'd like to try a new one if possible.

CP and Cape May are our fav character breakfasts...we are going to try Chef Mickeys next month!

I think Cape May is a good choice. We went there a couple years ago and I remember thinking it wasn't as crazy as Chef Mickey's. We still love Chef Mickey, but this year I think we are going to do Cape May, Tucker House, and maybe O'Hana

CP. make an ADR for 8a. You get to get into MK before its open. Its truly magical being on Main Street by yourself.

Then when you are done w/ b-fast you are already ahead of the crowd just getting in, so head on over to any of the Mountains for some walk on rides!

Our fav would be Tusker House at AK. I liked the food offerings much better than CP or Cape May. Tusker has the regular breakfast items but then they had many unique offerings that made it more of a brunch. It's a little noisier than Cape May because the floor is tiled rather than the carpet but I really enjoy the food choices at Tusker. When we ate here 2 weeks ago I saw a lot of tables of just couples with no children.

I agree that Cape May is a good choice and we've done that one several times. Love Chip and Dale! But DH loves Eeyore, so this upcoming trip (just DH and I) we're doing CP at 8 like Cindy's Mom posted. We've never done it -- not even when the kids were little -- so this should be fun. :goodvibes

Whatever you choose, have a great time!

We had 3 adults on our December trip and we loved the Princess breakfast in Norway. The princesses were delightful and the food was wonderful! We felt it was the best meal we had the whole trip!

Crystal Palace is a good character breakfast. The puffed french toast and breakfast lasagna are two items they are well known for (and I like them both - yes they are sweet but it is vacation).

I think the answer is: whichever one has the characters you want to see?

We travel as adults-only (party of 2,3,5,6...) over 90 percent of the time, and we do character breakfasts with no hesitation all over the place.

My personal favorite is Crystal Palace, just because I love me some Eeyore and I also feel :goodvibes in there with the light, airy, yellowy place full of early morning sunlight. The food is great too - I also love the puffed french toast.

My husband and I love going to Ohana's for the character breakfast. Not only do we love the food, but it's nice to just sit and relax without having to wait in a buffet line. We also love being able to sit and enjoy the views outside the windows. It's just a gorgeous resort!

I would go to Ohana's for a character breakfast. The meal is family style so they bring you big skillets of stuff, bacon, eggs, potatos and sausage...they also serve fresh fruit, breads and juices....and you ask for more of what you liked...very pretty scenery also.

We enjoyed the breakfast and I am not a big breakfast eater at all.

They have yummy eggs.

DH and I go to Crystal Palace every year for breakfast with Pooh and friends. It is our favorite--love the puffed french toast, potato casserole and, of course, seeing Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore and Piglet.

Dh and I are just two adults and don't take children with us at least half of our trips. Our last trip we ate at five character meals.

Crystal Palace early on a non-emh day is always a must for us. We also like 1900 Park Faire for dinner, Garden Grill for dinner. Tusker House was GREAT for breakfast and the characters were really fun. We also like Ohana breakfast and both Princess breakfasts.

We don't care for Cape May for dinner (I can't stand the smell from the seafood) or Chef Mickeys (we don't like the food - breakfast is better than dinner)

We have no kids. We have done CM, CP, and Ohana character breakfasts. We love Lilo & Stitch, but the chaotic marching of kids and characters through the restaurant isn't so great when your caffeine hasn't yet kicked in. Much the same can be said for the chaos that is CM. However, the bonus perk of getting into MK an hour before the park opens to eat at CP, well, I love me some Pooh & Tigger.

I hear great things about Tusker House over at AK too. :thumbsup2

I really enjoyed breakfast at the castle. The food I think is very good, and how can you beat the atmosphere. I also love staring out at Fantasyland before the park opens.

We enjoyed
1) Cape May
2) Crystal Palace
3) Norway Princess
4) CRT

Crystal Palace is a "must do" breakfast for us - PUFFED FRENCH TOAST!!! + CP has a fun, open atmosphere.

Funny you brought up character meals without kids. :) I made some ADRs yesterday for our trip in May and when the CM asked how many children would be dining, I said "none" and the CM and I both laughed. She said that was fine, children weren't required!
We love Crystal Palace for breakfast (food is good but Main Street is awesome before the park is open) and Chef Mickey is good too (but last time we were stuck in a back room and didn't have many characters come by). Not as great as in the past. But the food was great.
We want to eat at CRT but have only been able to ADRs for the dinner and that isn't a character meal.
