Character Breakfast/CA

We are having a character breakfast at 10 this morning at Paradise Pier Hotel, do you think we will have a problem getting into California Adventure after the breakfast at about 11:30 or noon. Or should we go into one of the parks first so we can get our hands stamped and then go to breakfast. We do have reservations for WOC tonight and I have that confirmation with me. Thank you.

Do you have park tickets?

This makes a big difference, if you already have your tickets or an AP, you will be let in. If they close the gate they stop sales for that park, they don't shut everyone out, just newcomers who are trying still trying to get tickets. I suspect for DCA this will be the case if it gets super busy today.

We just had a character breakfast at PPH on Wednesday. Loved it you are in for a treat. The whole 5 days we were there they never closed DCA. Just DL so should be fine.

Sherri, DCA was maxed out on Tuesday at some point. Albort (CM who posts here on the DIS) confirmed it that night. They first reduced the number of tickets sold, and then eventually they stopped letting people in. I imagine that people who had Hoppers or APs were given priority in getting into DCA over the people with one-day tickets.

Yep I knew they were limit8ing but not that they stopped until I got looking around & saw the posts.
