Character Breakfast Birthday Question

I will be going to DL in December and made our reservations for the Minnie Character breakfast on my cousin's birthday. When I was making the reservation they asked if we were celebrating anything, and I told them yes. They asked the Bday person's name, so am I safe in assuming there might be a special treat for her? The reason I ask is that she gets violently ill if she eats chocolate (saddest allergy ever, if you ask me!), is there anyway to contact the restaurant and make a request if it is in fact a cake?

I have experience with WDW and allergies, but have not had to deal with that in DL.

Thanks for any help!

We went to Goofy's for my DS's birthday for a character meal and they brought him a chocolate cupcake. Like you we had no idea what (if anything) they were going to do. I guess I would call back and have her allergy noted on your reservation. Maybe they will bring a white cupcake instead. Being allergic to Chocolate would be no fun at all.

When I made our reservation for Minnie and Friends in September (we will finally be there next week!) they asked if we were celebrating anything special. I told them, "Well, you probably don't have a check box for this, but we will be there to celebrate the completion of my chemotherapy!" The cast member was SO sweet and said, "what a wonderful reason to celebrate! I am typing that in right now!" Do you think they'll bring me an "end of chemo" cupcake :rotfl2:

I hope they do! Congratulations, that is reason to celebrate, and completely cupcake worthy!:woohoo:
