Character Breakfast at Universal

I guess I am too used to working with Disney's time schedule. First I called to make a reservation for the Despicible Me breakfast and that ended on Sept 1. They I tried to call and make reservations for the Superstar Breakfast and you can't do that until 3 months before

Now my question is if the Superstar breakfast is worth it. My family is very big Minion fans. Would this satisfy that quest to meet some minions?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

When did you call about the breakfast at the Royal Pacific that was scheduled to end Sept 1st? That has been extended to the end of the year.
